Known as the "suburb in the city," is a leafy, historic neighborhood located in the historic northwestern section of Philadelphia. It was recently designated one of the top seven urban enclaves in the United States by Forbes.com.

Chestnut Hillis a walkable community, filled with tree-lined sidewalks. On any given day, those sidewalks teem with families strolling with their babies, children riding their bikes, and older residents out making the rounds.

Chestnut Hill borders the Wissahickon section of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. In the Wissahickon you'll find hiking and biking trails, riding stables and picnic areas. The Chestnut Hill Community Association sponsors many events during the year, including the popular summer outdoor concerts in Pastorius Park and the Holiday House Tour, which it runs in conjunction with the Chestnut Hill Historical Society.
